SodaSlim ingredients explained: all five, and what the evidence shows

By the SodaSlim Review editorial teamUpdated 13 Aug 2026~7 min read

The formula in one breath

SodaSlim contains five familiar weight-management ingredients — Caffeine Anhydrous, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Raspberry Ketone, Garcinia Extract and Green Tea Extract. It's a thermogenic (caffeine-based) blend: some ingredients aim at energy and calorie burning, others at appetite. The catch: the manufacturer doesn't publish full per-capsule doses, and human evidence for a couple of these is weak. Always check the physical label.

SodaSlim uses ingredients you'll recognise from dozens of diet formulas. That's not a bad thing — familiar means well-studied — but "well-known" isn't the same as "proven to work in this capsule." Here's each ingredient, what it's for, and how solid the science actually is.

The thermogenic core

1. Caffeine Anhydrous

A concentrated, dehydrated form of caffeine — the same stimulant as in coffee, just dried into powder for precise dosing. It's the most evidence-backed ingredient here: caffeine reliably increases alertness and energy, and is associated with a small, temporary rise in calorie burning. It's also the reason SodaSlim isn't for everyone (see our safety guide). Background: MedlinePlus on caffeine.

2. Green Tea Extract

Rich in antioxidant catechins, especially EGCG. Green tea is a classic thermogenic studied for supporting fat oxidation and metabolism, often working synergistically with caffeine. The effect in studies is real but modest. Background: NCCIH on green tea.

Caffeine + green tea is the most established pairing in the formula — they're the ingredients with the strongest rationale. The rest are more "supporting cast."

The metabolism & appetite support

3. Green Coffee Bean Extract

Unroasted coffee beans, high in chlorogenic acid, studied for its potential effect on how the body absorbs and handles sugars and carbohydrates. Some early studies were promising, but several were small or later questioned, so treat the weight-loss evidence as preliminary. Note it also contains some caffeine.

4. Garcinia Extract

From garcinia cambogia, providing hydroxycitric acid (HCA). It's included across many diet products for appetite and craving support. Human evidence for meaningful weight loss is mixed and generally weak, though some people report feeling fuller.

5. Raspberry Ketone

The aroma compound from raspberries. It became popular after lab and animal studies, but robust human evidence for fat loss is essentially lacking. It's best viewed as a marketing-friendly inclusion rather than a proven fat-burner.

What the evidence does — and doesn't — show

This is the part the ads skip. The research behind these ingredients is category-level — studies on the individual compounds, often at doses different from a single daily capsule. There are no published trials on the finished SodaSlim formula itself. And with weight management specifically, the honest truth is that no capsule outperforms the fundamentals: diet, activity and sleep do the heavy lifting.

Ingredient research ≠ proof of the product. A compound doing something in a study doesn't guarantee this capsule, at its (undisclosed) dose, produces weight loss. Read the science as context, not a guarantee.

How many ingredients are in SodaSlim?

Five core ingredients: Caffeine Anhydrous, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Raspberry Ketone, Garcinia Extract and Green Tea Extract. Confirm exact per-capsule amounts on the physical label.

Does SodaSlim contain caffeine?

Yes — Caffeine Anhydrous is a core ingredient, and green coffee bean and green tea contain some too. It's a stimulant-based formula, so factor in your other caffeine intake and see the safety guide.

Are the ingredient doses disclosed?

Not fully — the manufacturer doesn't publish every per-capsule amount. Check the Supplement Facts panel on the bottle for the current figures.

Which ingredient has the best evidence?

Caffeine, followed by green tea extract. Green coffee bean is preliminary, while garcinia and raspberry ketone have mixed-to-weak human evidence for weight loss.
